6 July – 9 July 2026 | The SADIT-MAR Program was held at University College London, United Kingdom, bringing together participants from several international higher education institutions, including Yildiz Technical University, Universidad de las Américas, Hamburg University, Rostock University, the University of Southampton, and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu.
Representing Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) in this program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Asamudin A. Rahman and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Hairil Mohd, Director and Deputy Director of the Centre for Offshore Renewable Energy (CEFORE), who actively participated in strengthening academic engagement, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration throughout the program.
The program focused on advancing safe, inclusive, and sustainable digital transformation in the maritime sector through knowledge sharing, research, innovation, and cross-border collaboration.
Participation in this program reflects the shared commitment of the institutions involved to strengthen a resilient smart maritime ecosystem that is prepared to address future technological challenges.
It is hoped that this international collaboration will continue to grow in empowering the maritime sector through more responsible and sustainable digital approaches.
